Hello Herrick Families,
The following are this week's updates and reminders:
1) On Tuesday we have a parent workshop in the Parent Center hosted by our PSW-Eva Serrano.
The topic is Internet Safety. It will be at 8:30 a.m.
2) On Tuesday we also have early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
3) On Wednesday we have another parent presentation in the Parent Center at 8:30 a.m. The
topic will focus on 7 simple strategies to maximize connection and respond to behaviors that
create safe, healthy, welcoming, and affirming environments. It will be hosted by Carmen
Camacho, System of Support Adviser.
4) Parents, as a way of promoting good attendance, we are awarding one student every day
with an In n Out gift card for a free hamburger or cheeseburger. One student (who is present at school)
will be selected daily from now until the end of school year.
5) Friday is FREE DRESS DAY! Students do not need to wear a school uniform.
6) Spring Break is right around the corner. It will be from March 25-March 29. Students will
also have April 1st off. School will resume Tuesday, April 2nd.
